MISSION: 4-HOUR MARATHON TO GIVE BACK

I have made it a personal mission
to give back whenever and however I can.

I am training to run the Cowtown Half Marathon
in February and the Country Music Marathon
in Nashville this April – I thought these would
be tremendous vehicles to do just that.

I have setup two donation options:

• COWTOWN: Raised $654
A huge thanks to everyone who made a donation.

• COUNTRY MUSIC: $12
($3 for every hour I plan on being
on the marathon course,
which WILL BE 4 HOURS!)

Since I know the president of e-Partners in Giving
pretty well, the standard Convenience Fee has
been waived for each donation, and all of the proceeds will go to Back on My Feet, a wonderful non-profit in Philadelphia that attacks homelessness through running.

I've actually decided to earmark the funds for an additional staff member for the BOMF Family. Isaac, one of the organization's members, has been hired to handle their merchandise.

Mission Statement: Back on My Feet is a non-profit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of the homeless population by engaging them in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem.

Specific Cause: Help Isaac Get Back on His Feet

Why Did You Choose This Charity: Because of my involvement at Fort Worth's Presbyterian Night Shelter and my love of running, this organization speaks directly to my heart.
